Description
This pre-doctoral internship/post-doctoral fellowship will train 1 individual per year. Individuals will have the opportunity to serve the underserved population within an integrated, family medicine setting. The integrated care team is comprised of MFTs, LCSWs, PharmDs, nursing staff, family medicine residents and attendings. Clinical efforts will be spent completing brief and traditional therapy, curb-side consultations, and collaborative care teams. Teaching opportunities will include assisting in developing and implementing a longitudinal, behavioral health curriculum, aiding to facilitate behavioral health rotations, and supporting activities to increase resident and faculty well-being. Individuals will be able to work toward status of AAMFT Approved Supervisor as they will be directly responsible for the supervision of 2 master's level MedFT interns. To be eligible for this position, individuals must have passed the Marriage and Family Therapy National exam.
